So, for those that might not know this woman (but let’s be honest, I know most of you do haha), this is my sweet friend Sarah Cornish of My Four Hens Photography. We have been social media friends for what seems like forever and last weekend we finally had the chance to meet in person in her stretch of the Rockies way down in Colorado! It should come as no surprise that she is just the sweetest, kindest, most honest person. With 6 kids in tow we trekked up to Estes Park, CO and wow, even though I shoot in the Canadian Rockies 90% of the time and have seen my fair share of mountains, the park there is insane with beauty and did not disappoint one bit. I will be the first to admit that after chatting with Sarah and letting her know my plans to come down that way and that she was interested in a session, I kind of wanted to throw up….I was a ball of nerves (not unusual haha) because I have admired and looked up to this woman for at least the past 5 years…… I have this a$$hole that lives in my brain, her name is Doubt……She really loves to make herself known and the weeks leading up to the session was utter chaos in my brain….”You’re not good enough Jayme, now she’s gonna know i’m just a fluke artist Jayme, nothing is going to turn out, Jayme”…….blah blah…but the second Sarah and I hugged and I got to meet all her children that Doubt shrivelled into a pile of dust and all my nerves were put at ease. Guys, I barely had to do anything…Wes had all the tricks up his sleeve to keep the kids occupied, engaged and entertained.
Sarah, I really enjoyed photographing your family and can not wait to show you my Rockies up here!
Look at that face!!!

Sarah said the bond between Wesley and Daisy is so incredibly strong…she has him wrapped around her little finger…I mean just look at the love in his face!

Sweet sophia
this just screamed motherhood to me, all the arms around her, just wrapped up in a sweet rectangle of love
now, for y’all that are smitten with all those images of daisy and her big baby blues, you might think she is just the sweetest thing, and she is don’t get me wrong
…..but as sarah said, she is a spitfire and lets everyone know it….which is why this photo was a must include, even if just for you Sarah!
Sarah, these sweet morsels of little moments we get to see of you and the love you have created and have for each other are beautiful. I’m definitely smitten. ❤️
Beautiful family, beautifully captured.
