Love from previous Attendees:

“I feel so empowered after completing this course and was beyond excited to go out and shoot, meet with clients, and push myself to a new level. These lessons brought tears to my eyes on numerous occasions because it made me understand how “normal” some of the things we go through, are. I’m so thankful for the time I had in this course and look forward to putting it to practice.”

– Jennifer Christensen

“Jayme’s course was a blessing in disguise. While I was searching for new information I found inspiration and a new fire within that made me want to pick up my camera. After Jayme’s course I feel inspired and I’m loving my work more than I ever have. ”

– Jenna Hobbs

“The workshop was packed full or content that I had hoped for. I found each lesson built so well onto each other and together combined to be a treasure of content. It was nice having daily lessons that helped focus each day and was exciting to look forward to. I learnt as much as I had anticipated and then some. I loved how it wasn’t just about family photography but about the business of being a professional family photographer, as well as focusing on myself personally. It wasn’t a generic workshop, it was a workshop that has helped me grow personally as well. It was so great realizing that I am not the only photographer who struggles with being shy – and learning how to be confident and value myself and my time (and family time) despite that. Being part of such a wonderful group of other photographers who have similar struggles also helped me feel more encouraged”

– Liesel Sanday

The Family Narrative | International Family Photographer
Back in the spring of last year, I was contacted by my sweet friend Posy Quarterman about speaking at this new workshop put on by four pretty fantastic boss ladies that focused SOLEY on the genre of family photography. After suffering with the stigma that family photography was not viewed as important as other genres (i.e.. weddings) and being told by their peers that photographers that only shoot family's would never be able to make the money that wedding photographers make, they decided to push back and create something that nobody has. They want to empower us, to let people know that yes, we ARE worth it and family photography IS worth eve ...

mishael & elijah | mother & son connection session | salmon arm photographer
I have known Mishael since high school and was so very excited when she responded to my mother & son connection session in Salmon Arm back in July. Her son Elijah is honestly one of the most adorable little men I have ever photographed. He is so kind and friendly and you can just see how loved he is by these photos <3 You will also see ol' Baxter. He's on his last legs so we made sure to include him in the photos. Thank you again Mishael, it was so lovely to see you again!

the cornish family | rocky mountain family photographer
So, for those that might not know this woman (but let's be honest, I know most of you do haha), this is my sweet friend Sarah Cornish of My Four Hens Photography. We have been social media friends for what seems like forever and last weekend we finally had the chance to meet in person in her stretch of the Rockies way down in Colorado! It should come as no surprise that she is just the sweetest, kindest, most honest person. With 6 kids in tow we trekked up to Estes Park, CO and wow, even though I shoot in the Canadian Rockies 90% of the time and have seen my fair share of mountains, the park there is insane with beauty and did not disappoint ...
