After a week of rescheduling our session due to the much needed rain in BC, I finally got together with the Devereaux-Kirkpatrick family and the sun in Sicamous did not disappoint.

Jayme – 6 months | red deer family photographer
Sweet Jayme is 6 months and since Aislinn was still pretty unsure of her new sister when we did Jayme's newborn photos, we decided to focus mostly on their connection for this one. These two were in such good moods on Sunday and I am so happy I got to see such genuine interactions between them. Towards the end of the session, little Jayme slipped down and bumped her head on the arm of the couch and was notably upset. The last shot is probably one of my favourites shots ever. A loving tender moment between mother and daughter, that little tear just kills me....

The Barrett Family | Alberta Family Photography | Waterton Sessions
I was contacted by Riley back in the summer about surprising his wife with photos for her birthday (guys: take note here...lol) and was so happy to be able to meet them in one of my favourite new places. I have only ever been to Waterton twice but hope to plan many more trips here in the future :) The wind (like my other session) was not afraid to hang out with us that evening, but luckily Riley and his family were from Pincher Creek so they are very used to those heavy southern alberta winds!
