Dinosaur Adventures | Drumheller Family Photographer

Drumheller will always hold a special little place in my heart. My mom lived here in the 60’s and when she was little she would dig for Dinosaur fossils down by the creek in her back yard. When they eventually moved to BC, her Dad said she could only take a small box with her so she left behind huge boxes of fossils. She brought them out for the kids to look at last summer and they were blown away at the fact that Grammy had actual fossil (keep in mind this was waaaaaay before you were obligated to give them to the museum). I loved taking my boys there this past September and can’t wait to head back again this Spring.

red deer photographer ➾ a week of inspiration
to say these women are inspiring would not be doing them any justice, I can't even articulate how much I cherish these relationships. In august of last year I saw a post from a photographer that I had been following for a while that said she would be putting on a workshop in Asheville, NC. I immediately got butterflies and called up my husband to get the a-ok (he was in Europe at the time haha) We agreed that even though it was over our anniversary, it would be an incredible experience for me to learn and work with a mentor. That mentor was, Joy Prouty of Wildflowers Photography. I had big expectations for this workshop but I had no idea the ...
