I first told the story of my dear friends Kat & Aaron's big move to Salt Spring Island back in May and now I have had the honour of telling Kat's parents story. Their farm has been in the family since 1905 (home to 5 generations) and they have recently made the tough decision to sell their property - closing date was today! - to make the same move that Kat did. Another month has gone by and as I type this it is snowing back home..yes that's right, Sept 8th and its SNOWING, like really snowing - 30cm at least in the past 24 hours. Luckily we are on holidays in BC where it is a bit chilly but still very much summer! I try not to make resolutions or focus too much on what "needs to be fixed" this time of year...Instead I try to think of something that I would love to look back on; a summary of sorts. I'm no good with words, so journalling never works. I would always give myself a really hard time about not documenting my feelings through certain life events.
