Living in the prairies but being from Montana, Jessica wanted a more mountainous surrounding for her family photos. With her husband and three beautiful children, we trekked up to Spray Lakes in Canmore and found the perfect location for exploring. We were greeted in the most Canadian way, by two giant moose...they were a bit camera shy, which was totally fine, they scare the crap out of me!

Last year, my Mother's day was kind of a wash....Hudson was still recovering from his first heart surgery and Jensen was at my mom and dads in BC. Now, i'm not saying it was bad but since I didn't have both my boys with me it didn't really feel like a complete mothers day. It was however, the first time I was able to hold Hudson in 8 days. He had a breathing tube in his nose and I was too scared to hold him with it in, in fears I would move it and cause him to be uncomfortable - if you could have only seen how much this kid hated that thing then you might have an understanding why haha. Learning to Love | The Watt Family
I have such an incredible opportunity to tell the stories of the ones that I love. The ones that inspire me on a daily basis and that truly just make my life better. Today is no exception. Lyndsey is fighting a hard fight but her positivity is radiant and no matter what is put in front of her, she faces it with strength and courage. Last May, I photographed Lyndsey and her family at the beginning of her battle, after a year of treatment they received some unfortunate news.
