Mini Mountain Escape

Just a quick weekend trip to the mountains with my littles. This is definitely one of my most favourite spots in Banff and the day we went was perfect. usually when we take the boys to the mountains, we adventure during the day and end up having to shoot in direct high noon sun but that day was the perfect mixture of clouds and not too cold.

My sweet boy had just watched an spca commercial and was so focused on getting us to help these poor animals.....i've realized now, more than ever that he is the window to my childhood. We are wire ...

Sometimes when you have close photographer friends that feel the weight of having growing children slipping through their fingers as much as you do, you just take a trip out to the mountains, brave the cold (well compared to the temperatures the past few weeks, this was summer lol), and hold your kids as close as you can. When I take these types of images, I take them with the children in mind. These images are not just for us as parents but for our children, our children's children and so on. Think for ...
