Love from previous Attendees:

“I feel so empowered after completing this course and was beyond excited to go out and shoot, meet with clients, and push myself to a new level. These lessons brought tears to my eyes on numerous occasions because it made me understand how “normal” some of the things we go through, are. I’m so thankful for the time I had in this course and look forward to putting it to practice.”

– Jennifer Christensen

“Jayme’s course was a blessing in disguise. While I was searching for new information I found inspiration and a new fire within that made me want to pick up my camera. After Jayme’s course I feel inspired and I’m loving my work more than I ever have. ”

– Jenna Hobbs

“The workshop was packed full or content that I had hoped for. I found each lesson built so well onto each other and together combined to be a treasure of content. It was nice having daily lessons that helped focus each day and was exciting to look forward to. I learnt as much as I had anticipated and then some. I loved how it wasn’t just about family photography but about the business of being a professional family photographer, as well as focusing on myself personally. It wasn’t a generic workshop, it was a workshop that has helped me grow personally as well. It was so great realizing that I am not the only photographer who struggles with being shy – and learning how to be confident and value myself and my time (and family time) despite that. Being part of such a wonderful group of other photographers who have similar struggles also helped me feel more encouraged”

– Liesel Sanday

hELLo, It seems to be wonderful, how do you estimate the load of work in hours per week ? I'm really interested but i need to know if it will fit in my schedule. Thanks for your answer. have a beautiful day Helene

Hi Helene! I will be posting one lesson per day for 14 days and it is totally up to you when you read it :) (usually about a 15 min read each) so the time commitment is low. If you choose an active seat there are assignments with due dates but that is the only time related concern

A Farewell Story | Red Deer Family Photographer
I first told the story of my dear friends Kat & Aaron's big move to Salt Spring Island back in May and now I have had the honour of telling Kat's parents story. Their farm has been in the family since 1905 (home to 5 generations) and they have recently made the tough decision to sell their property - closing date was today! - to make the same move that Kat did. It was a bitter sweet day filled with stories, jokes, chocolate, tears and horses. Kat's brother and sister made the trip up from Vancouver just to say one final goodbye to the place they grew up. Abby said goodbye to her favourite pony although her new owners have agreed to wee ...

Liz contacted me about 11 days ago about a family session but at that time, I had no idea the importance. Her and her husband, Jamie have been through a lot over the past 3.5 years, ever since starting the adoption process of a sweet little girl named Estaya. She was born in the Congo and lived there until 2 weeks ago when she finally arrived in Canada. Legally, she was a Canadian citizen and fully adopted but the country would not let her leave. Liz went and lived there for 7.5 months until the president of the country signed off on her release and they were finally allowed to make the long journey home to Canada. Thank you Liz, for in ...
