Love from previous Attendees:

“I feel so empowered after completing this course and was beyond excited to go out and shoot, meet with clients, and push myself to a new level. These lessons brought tears to my eyes on numerous occasions because it made me understand how “normal” some of the things we go through, are. I’m so thankful for the time I had in this course and look forward to putting it to practice.”

– Jennifer Christensen

“Jayme’s course was a blessing in disguise. While I was searching for new information I found inspiration and a new fire within that made me want to pick up my camera. After Jayme’s course I feel inspired and I’m loving my work more than I ever have. ”

– Jenna Hobbs

“The workshop was packed full or content that I had hoped for. I found each lesson built so well onto each other and together combined to be a treasure of content. It was nice having daily lessons that helped focus each day and was exciting to look forward to. I learnt as much as I had anticipated and then some. I loved how it wasn’t just about family photography but about the business of being a professional family photographer, as well as focusing on myself personally. It wasn’t a generic workshop, it was a workshop that has helped me grow personally as well. It was so great realizing that I am not the only photographer who struggles with being shy – and learning how to be confident and value myself and my time (and family time) despite that. Being part of such a wonderful group of other photographers who have similar struggles also helped me feel more encouraged”

– Liesel Sanday

getting my film legs back | personal project | red deer family photographer
Every February I feel the heavy slump of winter and yearn for inspiration. Film photography is something that always boosts my creative spirit and I think I have inadvertently started an incredible personal project. There is this light that happens this time of year around 10am at our patio door, a light that stops you dead in you tracks. We are lucky to have as much sun as we do in the Province considering the bitter cold that wreaks havoc on us for months on end. Last year I was still relatively new to film (I say new but like most, thats where I started off but got lost in the world of digital) and I wanted to experiment. So, I grabbed ...

Learning to Love | The Watt Family
I have such an incredible opportunity to tell the stories of the ones that I love. The ones that inspire me on a daily basis and that truly just make my life better. Today is no exception. Lyndsey is fighting a hard fight but her positivity is radiant and no matter what is put in front of her, she faces it with strength and courage. Last May, I photographed Lyndsey and her family at the beginning of her battle, after a year of treatment they received some unfortunate news. The cancer has spread but she is still fighting hard and won't let anything stop her. Please check out her blog for a bit more of her story and where her health is ...
